Project Description

499 Summit Avenue is a major mixed-use development site in the Journal Square neighborhood of Jersey City, NJ. The property is the location of a high-rise residential and retail project underway, developed by Panepinto Properties with design by HLW International. The tower will rise approximately 53 stories above the Journal Square PATH station area and will include 605 rental residences, ground-floor retail space, a landscaped public plaza, parking facilities, and a range of resident amenities. Construction began in 2023 and the project is expected to be completed in 2026, contributing new housing and commercial space to one of Jersey City’s key transit-oriented corridors.
